Learning that works for everyone

Every stylist deserves to learn color with confidence, whatever device you use and however you use it.

Our goal

Our goal

We want the True Hair Education hub to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, larger text, or a phone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

What we have done

  • Every page works on phones as small as 320 pixels wide, with no sideways scrolling.
  • Text grows with your browser zoom and text size settings, up to 200 percent and beyond.
  • You can reach every link, button and form with a keyboard, and you can always see where you are.
  • Text and buttons meet AA color contrast.
  • Form fields have clear labels, and errors are explained in words, not just color.
  • Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Lesson notes and downloads sit on the same page as each video, so you can read along at your own pace.
  • Logging in uses an instant log in link sent to your email, so there is no password to remember or type.
What we are still working on

What we are still working on

  • Some of our older lesson videos do not have captions yet. We are adding them.
  • Some older PDF downloads may not work well with screen readers. If you need one in another format, just ask.
Tell us what is not working
